Are you looking to carry out a health and wellness research project in Nunavik? The first step is to submit your project so that it can undergo an evaluation process. The objective is to supervise, support and ensure the continuity of health and social services research projects in Nunavik while also ascertaining that they are tailored to the Northern context, give due consideration to Inuit values, ethics and culture, and are aligned with the priorities of the region’s communities.
The submission of research projects allows for:
- Receiving letters of support;
- Improving projects’ coherence with local priorities and by extension, increasing their scope and relevance;
- Fostering the validation and longevity of results through annual reviews and a register of the research projects underway in the region.
